Customer Service Representative, Borås, Sweden
Are you a solution-oriented and service-minded person who enjoys helping customers, solving problems and creating an excellent customer experience? Are you also motivated by understanding customer needs and finding the right products and solutions?
We are now looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Swedish customer service team in Borås.
About the role
As a Customer Service Representative at Scandinavian Photo, you will support our customers through several different channels, primarily by phone, email and digital contact channels.
You will assist customers with questions that may arise before, during and after a purchase. This may include questions about products, orders, deliveries, payments, returns and other parts of the customer journey.
An important part of the role is understanding what the customer actually needs. By combining advice with product knowledge, you will help customers find the right product, accessory, service or solution. You see sales opportunities as a natural part of great customer service and work to create value for both the customer and Scandinavian Photo.
You will become part of a friendly and solution-oriented team where we work together, share knowledge and always keep the customer at the centre of what we do. We work in a structured way with goals, customer satisfaction, sales and other relevant KPIs to continuously improve both our way of working and the customer experience.
Your responsibilities
- Help and guide customers by phone, email and digital contact channels.
- Handle questions relating to products, orders, deliveries, payments and returns.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products, accessories, services and solutions.
- Actively contribute to sales by identifying business opportunities in ongoing customer conversations.
- Support customers before, during and after a purchase and create a consistent customer experience.
- Work actively to achieve high customer satisfaction and provide professional and personal service.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of routines and ways of working within the team.
We are looking for someone who has
- Experience in customer service, sales, support or another customer-facing role.
- A genuine interest in helping people, understanding their needs and finding the right solution.
- A commercial mindset and is comfortable with sales being a natural part of the customer conversation.
- Good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and ways of working.
- Excellent Swedish skills, both spoken and written.
- Good English skills.
It is an advantage if you also have
- Experience in sales or needs-based customer advisory.
- Experience providing customer service through several different channels.
- Experience working with CRM systems, case management systems or other digital customer service tools.
- Product knowledge within photography, video, computers, audio or content creation.
- A few years of experience in customer-facing roles within retail or service.
Who are you?
You have a strong understanding of customer needs and enjoy delivering high-quality service. You also understand that great service often means helping the customer find a better or more complete solution than the one they initially asked for.
You are positive, outgoing, curious and ambitious. You remain patient even when a case is complex and are able to maintain a professional and friendly approach at all times.
You are solution-oriented and enjoy taking responsibility for a customer case from the first contact until the customer has received the help they need. You are curious about the customer's needs and enjoy recommending products and solutions when they provide genuine added value.
You are organised, detail-oriented and careful when it comes to follow-up and communication. You are also a strong team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and contributing energy, knowledge and a positive atmosphere to the team.
